Delete your data
You can remove your data from Pic-A-Site at any time. There are two levels — disconnect a single linked account, or delete everything.
Disconnect Instagram (or another linked account)
This removes the stored access token and the account details we hold for that connection. It does not touch anything on Instagram itself: posts already published stay on your account, because they belong to you.
- Sign in at https://app.picasite.co.za.
- Open your workspace settings and go to connected accounts.
- Choose the account and select Disconnect.
The token is deleted immediately. You can also revoke our access from Instagram's side under Settings → Apps and Websites, which has the same effect.
Delete your whole account
This permanently removes your account, your workspace, your sites and articles, uploaded images, brand material, assistant history, and every connected-account credential we hold.
- Email tatenda@flemoji.com from the address on your account, with the subject Delete my account.
- We confirm the request with you, so that nobody else can delete your workspace.
- We delete the data and confirm in writing, within 30 days and usually far sooner.
What we keep, and why
After deletion we retain only what the law requires us to keep — invoices and payment records, which tax law in South Africa obliges us to hold for a set period. These contain billing details, not your site content. Everything else is destroyed.
Backups are rotated on a rolling schedule and any residual copy is overwritten within 30 days of deletion.
Data obtained through Meta
Where you connected an Instagram business account, the data we obtained through Meta is limited to the account's id and username and the access token used to publish on your instruction. All of it is destroyed when you disconnect the account or delete your workspace. See our Privacy Policy for the full detail.
